Call for Bloggers!

London Book & Screen Week 2017 – Be part of the team

LBSW took London by storm last April. Over 140 events, in 100 London venues, run by over 100 international partners, took place. It was London’s biggest celebration of the written word and the worlds it has inspired – a seven day, citywide, landmark event, bringing storytelling and the written word to life, uniting the capital’s avid readers, writers, game, film and TV fans with a whole host of events taking place right across literary London.

NEW FOR 2017, we’re recruiting for daily bloggers, accredited by LBSW, who can deliver digestible online coverage of our event programme for the publishing and screen world.

Unfortunately, due to the high number of blogger applications we receive, we ask that each blogger fulfils certain requirements. To receive accreditation, please provide evidence of the following:

  • Examples of editorial content and articles
  • A proven interest in the publishing, film and/or gaming industries
  • Over 5,000 unique visitors to your blog each month – please provide statistics from the last three months from Google Analytics or a similar source
  • Over 5,000 combined followers on all social media platforms (this includes Instagram, Twitter and on Facebook)

Due to the nature of the industry, we are looking for bloggers who have a certain finesse with the English word. The application and vetting process for bloggers requires time and consideration so the LBSW team will not be registering bloggers onsite at events. You will also need to ensure you are available to attend events from the 13th – 19th March 2017 in London, UK.

Applications are now being accepted. To apply, simply email details of your accreditation to

Deadline: 31st December 2016.

Unaccredited Bloggers

Whilst we cannot accredit all bloggers who apply to attend, the London Book & Screen Week still provides numerous opportunities to join in the activity.
