Ballad on Karma – Anahad Nad Kathak – Jonaki Raghavan

16 March, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Hingori Sutras presents ‘The Ballad on Karma’ a presentation of the Karma Sutra in the form of music and dance.

Just like cause and effect, music and dance together string the rhythm that defines the symphony of life. If music is the reflection of the emotional spirit, dance is its physical expression. The spirit within is nameless and formless, it can only be experienced as vibrations. Hence, the name of the programme – Anagad Nad, or, the unfelt vibration.

Jonaki Raghavan is a veteran of Kathak , whose technique illustrates grace and fluidity . She has performed at the Rashtrapati Bhavan and in various noted forums such as the Mumbai Festival, Konark Festival and Kala Mahotsav and has won laurels for her work.

The script writer, Anamitra Dasgupta , is a film maker , aviator and research scholar, besides being a specialist in western classical music .

Hingori Sutras will also present ‘Karma Quest’ which is the World’s first Spiritual IQ Test at this event.
