ITV’s hit drama Grantchester returns this spring, introducing a new face to the Cambridgeshire village – Reverend Will Davenport. To celebrate, London Book & Screen Week are bringing together James Runcie, author of the novels behind the popular TV series (The Grantchester Mysteries), and Daisy Coulam, Grantchester’s lead script writer, to discuss the charms of crime-fighting clergy, on-set antics, and the fascinating elements of creating a popular period drama. James will also share details of his new novel – The Road to Granchester – a captivating prequel to the treasured Grantchester series.
The discussion will be hosted by Reverend Richard Coles (BBC 1 The Big Painting Challenge, QI, Have I Got News For You).
