The late, great, Queen Victoria: Lucy Worsley in conversation with Roya Nikkhah

Thu 14 March @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Queen Victoria truly brought girl power to the British monarchy. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of her birth in 2019, London Book & Screen Week is delighted to welcome acclaimed historian Lucy Worsley to discuss her major new biography Queen Victoria: Daughter, Wife, Mother. From passionate princess to remarkably successful queen, this royal affair will explore Queen Victoria’s defining moments, how she invented a new role for the monarchy and her lasting legacy.

Lucy will be in conversation with Royal Correspondent Roya Nikkhah, followed by a screening of Julian Fellowes’ The Young Victoria, starring Emily Blunt, Rupert Friend and Paul Bettany.
