‘This Burning World’ Inside ‘The Piece’.

12 April, 2016 - 13 April, 2016

Since the beginning of time there have always been great creators who have used their hands to create their destiny. Two of these creators have come together, Jeff Lane using pen and paper Michael Budd using heat and tools. Alone, these two have created wondrous work, but what they have done together has never been done before. Writing a novel – by no means is an easy task, a complex process as there is no industry standard or template on how to bring your work to fruition successfully. This new age author takes his most secret feelings, favoured words to give us that moment in his world; it is most phenomenal and selfless act as one reaction is never the same. Creating a sculpture – A Blacksmith/Artist whom has mastered not only visual art but the ability to use heat and tools to create anything he desires. He uses organic materials to create…organic creativity to achieve one goal – visual beauty regardless of its use. Two creatives, inspired by each other’s art… words on paper… iron shaped and bent… to create one combined vision. It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you ‘This Burning World’ Inside ‘The Piece’.
